Scholastic Book Club Orders

This year, your child will be growing as a reader.  One of the best ways to get your child excited about reading is to  let them pick their own books.  

Scholastic Book Clubs is a wonderful place to look for great books at affordable prices.   They include the Guided Reading Level (GL) on many books. in each catalog.  Everyday is  a "tax free holiday" when you order Scholastic books.  You never pay tax or shipping.   

Each month I will send homebook orders with a due date stamped on the flyer.  You can order with the flyer or you can order online. If you send in an order to school, please place the order and money in an envelope with your child's name and place it in the  Money/Notes pouch in your child's MAGIC book.  

If you choose to order online, there is no need to send in money.   Just go to

 https://clubs2.scholastic.com  and click on parents.  Enter our class activation code (GTQY8) and start ordering.    When ordering on line you also have the opportunity to purchase books from several online-only catalogs and take advantage of  online-only specials and discounts.

Which ever way you choose to order, our class wins!  Our class earns bonus points for each book order.  The bonus points are used to get free books for the classroom library.  What a great way to build our library!!

In my opinion you can never have too many books.  Books make great gifts for birthdays and holidays.
